Curriculum & Fees
Upon graduation, students will complete 990 clinical hours.
Students receive a certificate upon completion of the Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology program and an Associate of Science Degree upon graduation from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown or Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the certifying examination of the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) and subsequent employment at hospitals throughout the country. The Classes of 2020-2026 all had a 100% pass rate of the certifying exam.

Curriculum
Conemaugh's School of Surgical Technology in partnership with Pennsylvania Highlands Community College or the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown offers a two-year degree program, consisting of classroom and clinical education.
To complete the Pre-Health Professions: Surgical Technology A.A.S. Degree Program through Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, the following is the recommended courses for completion. Minimum credits to earn the A.A.S. degree: 61.
