Conemaugh Health System recognizes the importance of our relationship with every patient. To enhance relationships, all Conemaugh Health System employees are educated about implemented guidelines and behaviors to provide the Ideal Patient Experience to every patient, family member, and visitor.
The Ideal Patient Experience is the sum of all interactions with our patients, from the moment the relationship is formed with Conemaugh Health System until that relationship ends. Conemaugh Health System has invested in promoting the Ideal Patient Experience to further enhance our values, create a safer patient environment, and achieve our vision of Making Communities Healthier.
Our daily interaction with patients provides opportunities to enhance the overall patient experience. Some examples of these interactions including escorting lost visitors, smiling and greeting patients and family members, providing quality care, compassionate delivery of care, and improving our work processes to meet our patients' needs.
All Conemaugh Health System employees, students, volunteers, physicians, physician office staff, resident physicians, and physician extenders have participated in a comprehensive, interactive course focused on providing the Ideal Patient Experience throughout all areas of our organization.
