Rodney Reider, Market President and Chief Executive Officer
Rodney Reider, Ph.D., MBA, FACHE, is the chief executive officer for Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and market president for Conemaugh Health System. He has over 26 years of experience in the healthcare industry and worked with boards, physicians, employees, and communities to strengthen core services to customers, optimize performance, and identify best practices and strategic alliances for new business development.
Prior to joining Conemaugh Health System, he was the interim senior vice president at WellSpan Health and president of York Hospital. He has held numerous leadership roles in healthcare, including president and CEO at Saint Alphonsus Health System, vice president at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, and president and CEO of Chestnut Hill Health Systems.
He serves on various boards of directors, including Patient Innovations, Inovytec, CLEW, and as a healthcare advisor and international healthcare services ambassador for the Young Jewish Professionals of New York. Rodney has received honors such as Honorary Commander of the Idaho National Guard, CEO of Influence from the State of Idaho, and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Rodney is an international speaker who has spoken at and moderated conferences from New York City to Tel Aviv, Israel. He holds a Doctor of Arts from Harrison Middleton University, a Master of Business Administration from Loma Linda University, a Master of Science from California State Polytechnic University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Chapman University.
Elizabeth Dunmore, Chief Medical Officer
Elizabeth Dunmore, MD, became the chief medical officer (CMO) for Conemaugh Health System in October 2020 after serving as vice president of medical affairs for Conemaugh Health System since October 2016. Since joining the Conemaugh Health System team, Dr. Dunmore continues in clinical practice by working part-time in the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Dunmore was an active member of the Nason Hospital medical staff for 14 years prior to coming to Conemaugh Health System. At Nason, she served in multiple leadership positions including president of the medical staff. In addition, Dr. Dunmore provided primary care to patients at Southern Cove Medical Associates in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Dunmore is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Virginia Health Science Center and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Lynn Kennington, Chief Financial Officer
Lynn Kennington, MBA, MAcc, CPA, is chief financial officer (CFO) at Conemaugh Health System. He has 20 years of experience in the for-profit healthcare sector. Prior to healthcare, he spent five years in public accounting, auditing public and private entities, including hospitals, financial institutions, and manufacturers.
He joined Conemaugh after serving as CFO for Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He also served in the same capacity in tertiary hospitals in Alaska and Nevada. Lynn is a CPA (licensed in UT), FHFMA-expired, and has master’s degrees in accounting and business administration.
Lynn is responsible for financial operations at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, with the Financial Operations Department for both the Hospital and Physician Division reporting directly to him, as well as Decision Support, HIM, Coding, and Physician Office Billing.
He currently serves on the board of Echoing Hope Ranch in Arizona and has formerly served on the boards of Special Olympics-Alaska, Commonwealth North, and the Blood Bank of Alaska. He’s an avid football fan and enjoys exploring local historical sites, fly fishing, and hiking with his wife, Nikki, and their five daughters.
Kris O'Shea, Chief Nursing Officer
Kris O’Shea, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, joined Conemaugh Health System as chief nursing officer (CNO) in 2023.
In her role, Ms. O’Shea will be responsible for all nursing activities and clinical operations at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She brings more than 40 years of nursing leadership experience to the role and has earned numerous awards and professional recognitions including winner of the Nightingale of Pennsylvania award, Health Data Management 50 Top Healthcare IT Experts, and the Drexel University Outstanding Preceptor Award among other honors.
Most recently, Ms. O’Shea served as senior vice president, and chief nurse executive for WellSpan Health where she oversaw eight acute care hospitals and a large medical practice that employed over 1200 primary care and specialty providers.
While at Wellspan, Ms. O'Shea created a system-wide Shared Decision-Making Structure to provide staff and leadership involvement in system standardization of practice, professional development, leadership, and research and clinical informatics topics. In addition, Ms. O’Shea served as the Clinical Transformation Officer at WellSpan, leading the design, planning, and implementation of the electronic health record system. Her scholarly publications and presentations include topics such as Advancing Medication Infusion Safety Through the Clinical Integration of Technology.
Prior to working for WellSpan, Ms. O’Shea served as vice president of patient care and chief nursing officer at Gettysburg Hospital and was responsible for the development of a Clinical Advancement Program. Under her leadership, she fostered a culture in which the nurses actively participated with managers in key initiatives and decision-making.
She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.
Nate DeFanti, Chief Information Officer
Nate DeFanti, MBA, MPA, joined Conemaugh Health System as chief information officer (CIO) in 2022. He oversees system-wide strategy related to information systems and technology. He also oversees Epic applications for Lifepoint Health as the tools are delivered to facilities outside of Conemaugh Health System.
Nate most recently served as vice president of applications at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) where he oversaw the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of more than 75 clinical, ancillary, and revenue-cycle applications in support of the health system’s physician practices, hospital, and ancillary locations. In this role, he helped to establish a robust Electronic Health Record across 13 hospitals and 500 ambulatory locations, providing AHN with a robust platform to enhance the clinician and patient experience through innovation and optimization.
Prior to joining AHN in 2013, he held various roles of increasing responsibility in information technology at UPMC. He has also previously served as a consultant at Deloitte Consulting and Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young.
Nate earned his bachelor’s degree in health sciences and his master’s degree as a Physician Assistant at Duquesne University. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration at the University of Pittsburgh. As a Physician Assistant, he specialized in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Behavioral Health at West Penn Comprehensive Health Care for five years.

Anthony (Tony) Campagna, Vice President, Operations
Tony Campagna, MT(ASCP), SM, MBA, has been an employee of the Conemaugh Health System since 1981 where he began as the hospital’s microbiologist, eventually becoming the Director of Laboratory Services in 1988. He was named Executive Director of Diagnostic Services in 2008 at which time his responsibilities included the oversight of the ancillary departments (laboratory, imaging and emergency medicine). In January 2015, Tony was appointed Vice President, Ancillary and Post Acute Services and in 2018 he took on responsibility for the Support Services Division as well.
He is also responsible for leading the organization’s Lean Six Sigma journey and has previously served as a Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence (KAPE) examiner.
Tony received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biology in 1981 from the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, his Medical Technology certification from Conemaugh’s Memorial Medical Center in 1982, and his Masters Degree in Business Administration from St. Francis University.
Tony is Board Certified, Medical Technology (1983) and Board Certified, Specialist in Microbiology (1988), both from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. He has been a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists since 1983. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Conemaugh Meyersdale and Conemaugh Miners Medical Centers
Jessica Svidergol-Peterman, Chief Operating Officer
Jessica Svidergol-Peterman, MSN, RN, CCCC, serves as Chief Operating Officer for Conemaugh Miners and Meyersdale Medical Centers. Since joining Conemaugh Health System in 2006, Jessica has demonstrated strong leadership, most recently serving as Chief Nursing Officer for both facilities. Her career began as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center before transitioning to Conemaugh Miners in 2015. In addition to her role at Conemaugh, she contributes as adjunct faculty at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
A proud native of Cambria County, Jessica holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is deeply committed to her community, volunteering and serving on multiple Nursing Advisory Boards.

Michelle Buttry, RN - Chief Operating Officer
Michelle Buttry, MHA, RN, BSN, CPPS, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. With over 30 years of dedicated service to Conemaugh Nason, Michelle has most recently excelled in her role as Chief Nursing Officer.
Michelle’s career at Nason began as a Nurse Manager and Infection Control Professional, following her early work at the National Institutes of Health, Public Health Service in Bethesda. She later transitioned to a primary care nurse in the Kidney/Pancreas Transplant unit at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Michelle furthered her clinical experience as a staff nurse in the Intensive and Coronary Care units at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center before stepping into management at Conemaugh Nason.
A native of Southern Bedford County, Michelle holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from West Virginia University and a Master of Health Care Administration from Ohio University. She is also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
Lisa Kilraine - Chief Financial Officer
Lisa Kilraine was promoted to Chief Financial Office of Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in 2022. Lisa previously served as the controller at Conemaugh Nason, overseeing the hospital’s accounting operation since 2016.
A University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown graduate, Lisa first joined Conemaugh Health System in 2009 as a staff accountant at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
