Senior hospital leadership and the hospital board of trustees annually review health equity goals and status toward those goals.

Healthcare Equity High Performer 
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has proudly been recognized as a High Performer in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2026 Healthcare Equality Index. Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) is the national LGBTQIA+ benchmarking tool that evaluates healthcare facilities' policies and practices related to the equity and inclusion of their LGBTQIA+ patients, visitors and employees. LGBTQIA+ Community
Members of the LGBTQIA+ Community can access support and information by contacting our Health Equity and Patient Experience Navigator. All calls may remain confidential. The navigator can provide guidance on LGBTQIA+ providers and services that are knowledgeable and equipped to meet the specific healthcare needs of the LGBTQIA+ patients.
