BRA-Vo FOR THE CURE

This October, Conemaugh Health System, Johnstown Walk of Hope, Operation BeYOUtiful, The Tribune-Democrat, and a courageous community of warriors are standing together in the battle against breast cancer. Together, we are creating a unique and uplifting “BRA”Vo FOR THE CURE exhibit to inspire hope while raising awareness of breast cancer’s profound impact on patients and families in our community.

Thank you to all who submitted such unique, inspiring, and empowering masterpieces to help show support for all those who fight against breast cancer. The bras will be in display in the Atrium of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center all October.

HOW CAN YOU DO MORE?

Many have asked how they might be able to do more to show their support for those fighting their battle. If you are interested in providing financial support that directly assists members of our community, please consider donating to one of our cancer care partners.

The Johnstown Walk of Hope is a nonprofit organization started in 2016, with the goal of raising money for patients with a cancer diagnosis. The money raised goes to support various patient expenses. All donations support patients who receive care locally regardless of where they live in Cambria, Somerset, and Bedford Counties.

Operation BeYOUtiful is a non-profit organization that strives to provide complete

overall wellness to girls and women in the community who are currently in treatment for a medically related hair loss illness. They offer a high-quality wig and provide spa treatments, monthly meetups, house cleaning, meals, and counseling services. All products and services are provided to recipients at no cost.

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE BRA-VO FOR THE CURE MASTERPIECE!

Please take a moment to vote for your favorite BRA-Vo For the Cure masterpiece. You can vote as many times as you wish. Voting begins October 1 and will end at 11:59 pm on October 30. The winners will be announced at our Breast Cancer Awareness Event on October 31 in the Atrium of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. You can vote right here or in person in the Atrium.
