Christine Stryker, MBA, MSN, RN, Named Chief Nursing Officer at Conemaugh Health System

Conemaugh Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Stryker, MBA, MSN, RN, as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), effective immediately. Stryker brings over 25 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing, patient services, and healthcare operations to her new role.
A highly accomplished and compassionate nurse executive, Ms. Stryker has led clinical teams in a wide range of hospital settings—from large academic medical centers to smaller, community-based facilities. Her leadership philosophy centers on enhancing patient outcomes, promoting professional development among nursing staff, and improving the overall patient care experience.

As Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Stryker will lead all aspects of nursing operations across the Conemaugh Health System. Her responsibilities include driving quality improvement initiatives, ensuring clinical excellence, championing staff education, and guiding strategic priorities for patient care delivery.
Her prior leadership roles include serving as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in Pennsylvania, New York, and, most recently, Michigan, where she held the position of CNO at UP Health System-Marquette. Her career has also included roles as a Heart Center Director and Practice Administrator for a cardiac surgery group, bringing both operational and clinical insight into her leadership style.
Ms. Stryker holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vermont College of Norwich University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont, and a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University in Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Ms. Stryker enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and biking. She and her husband are excited to become part of the Johnstown community.
