Conemaugh Health System is pleased to announce that Julia Dando, MSN, CRNP, has joined the medical oncology team at the Conemaugh Cancer Care Center.

Dando additionally served as a preceptor for new nurses, helping train and mentor the next generation of caregivers.
“Julia’s strong background in both critical care and chronic disease management will be a tremendous asset to our oncology team,” said Elizabeth Dunmore, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Conemaugh Health System. “Her dedication to providing compassionate, comprehensive care will benefit patients and families as they navigate cancer treatment and recovery.”
Dando earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Duquesne University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds advanced life support certifications.
In her new role, Dando will collaborate with Conemaugh’s oncology physicians and care team to provide individualized, patient-centered care at the Conemaugh East Hills Outpatient Center on Scalp Avenue in Johnstown.
