Conemaugh Emergency Medicine Residency
Conemaugh's Emergency Medicine Residency is a three-year program associated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center's Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center and the Emergency Department is the primary receiving facility for Johnstown and the surrounding counties.
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center's Emergency Department treats over 40,000 patients per year, including 5,000 pediatric visits, and has a 26% admission rate, making it comparable to major urban center programs.
Conemaugh’s Emergency Medicine Residency is designed to prepare graduates for American Board of Emergency (ABEM) certification. To support this goal, the curriculum provides residents with the knowledge and skills to rapidly evaluate and treat patients of all levels of acuity.
