Conemaugh Physician Group – Surgery welcomes Timothy Chung, DO

Conemaugh Physician Group – Surgery is pleased to welcome Timothy Chung, DO, to its prestigious team of surgical specialists proudly serving the Johnstown community. 

Dr. Chung completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, an educational honor society that offers osteopathic medical students leadership, community service, and professional development experience. He then completed his surgical residency training at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of surgical conditions. 

Throughout his training, Dr. Chung distinguished himself through academic excellence, clinical leadership, and research contributions. He has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations focused on trauma care, surgical outcomes, and patient safety, with work featured in The American Surgeon and presented at regional and national surgical conferences.
