Conemaugh Physician Group Welcomes David Bianchi, MD to Expand Ear, Nose and Throat Services

Johnstown, PA – Conemaugh Physician Group is pleased to welcome David A. Bianchi, MD, FACS, a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, expanding access to specialized ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care for patients throughout the region.

With more than 30 years of experience in patient care, medical education, hospital leadership, and military medicine, Dr. Bianchi brings extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck.

Dr. Bianchi specializes in medical and surgical treatment of a broad range of ENT conditions, including sinus disease, hearing disorders, voice and swallowing conditions, thyroid and salivary gland disorders, and head and neck cancers. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in private practice, academic medicine, hospital leadership, and military healthcare settings.

A graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Bianchi completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Naval Hospital Bethesda. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has held faculty appointments at both the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the George Washington University School of Medicine.

In addition to his civilian medical career, Dr. Bianchi served in the United States Navy Reserve, including deployment during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. His military service earned numerous honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Bianchi has dedicated his career to advancing the field of otolaryngology through clinical excellence, physician education, and compassionate care.
