Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Hosts 2026 Donor Wall Dedication Ceremony Honoring Organ Donors
April 30, 2026
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center hosted its annual Donor Wall Dedication Ceremony on April 15, 2026, in the hospital’s Atrium, honoring the lives and legacies of organ donors whose selfless gifts have saved and healed countless others.
The Donor Wall, located on the third floor of the Atrium, serves as a lasting tribute to individuals who gave the gift of life through organ donation. Each name represents a powerful story of generosity, compassion, and hope—offering comfort to families and inspiration to all who visit.
During the ceremony, hospital leaders, clinical staff, donor families, and community members gathered to recognize those who made the decision to give others a second chance at life. The event provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the profound impact of organ donation and to honor the donors whose legacies live on through those they helped save.

“Organ donation is one of the most selfless acts a person can make,” said Kristin Bigam, Manager of Nursing Practice and CORE Liaison at Conemaugh Memorial. “This wall stands as a tribute to those individuals and their families, whose generosity continues to bring hope and healing to so many. We are honored to recognize their lasting impact here at Conemaugh Memorial.”
The Donor Wall Dedication Ceremony is part of Conemaugh Health System’s ongoing commitment to raising awareness about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation, while supporting donor families and transplant recipients throughout the region.
Community members and visitors are encouraged to view the Donor Wall, open to the public on the third floor of the Atrium at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
