Conemaugh Health System Recognized with Patriot Award, Reinforcing Commitment as a Military-Friendly Employer
April 07, 2026Conemaugh Health System has been honored with the prestigious Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), recognizing the organization’s strong and ongoing commitment to supporting employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
The Patriot Award is the first in ESGR’s series of honors and is awarded to employers who demonstrate exceptional support for service members and their families. Nominations are submitted by Guard or Reserve members—or their spouses—who wish to recognize organizations that go above and beyond in accommodating the unique demands of military service.
This recognition reflects Conemaugh Health System’s dedication to fostering a military-friendly workplace culture. Through initiatives such as flexible scheduling, approved leave for training and deployments, and a supportive reintegration process, Conemaugh empowers employees to successfully balance their civilian careers with their military responsibilities.
