Conemaugh Physician Group Welcomes Noah Kirshner, DPM, to Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Team

Conemaugh Physician Group is pleased to welcome Noah Kirshner, DPM, AACFAS, to its Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. Dr. Kirshner brings advanced fellowship training and a strong clinical focus on the treatment of reconstructive, traumatic, and sports-related lower extremity injuries. 

Dr. Kirshner recently completed an ACFAS-accredited orthopedic fellowship at Premier Orthopedics in Philadelphia, PA, where he received extensive training in complex lower extremity trauma, degenerative joint disease, and evidence-based surgical and nonsurgical care. He completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he also held several academic leadership roles. 

He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and holds a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr. Kirshner received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Muhlenberg College. 

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Kirshner is deeply committed to education and mentorship. During his residency, he served as Academics Chair, organizing journal clubs, morbidity and mortality conferences, board review sessions, radiology rounds, and cadaver-based surgical laboratories. His dedication to academic medicine is further demonstrated through national presentations at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) Annual Scientific Conference. 

Dr. Kirshner has authored and presented multiple research posters on topics including syndesmotic injuries, Achilles tendon ruptures in pediatric athletes, peripheral arterial disease, and complex forefoot reconstruction. His research reflects a strong commitment to advancing patient care and supporting safe, timely return to activity for patients of all ages. 

At Conemaugh Physician Group – Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Kirshner will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, with special interests in sports injuries, trauma, and reconstructive procedures. He is dedicated to partnering with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery, mobility, and long-term function.
