Conemaugh Health System welcomes John Kutzfara, DO, to Laurel Highlands Interventional Radiology

Conemaugh Health System is proud to welcome John Kutzfara, DO, to its medical staff as an Interventional Radiologist with Laurel Highlands Interventional Radiology. Dr. Kutzfara brings advanced training and experience in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that will expand access to high-quality care for patients across the region.
Dr. Kutzfara earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, gaining extensive expertise in cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions.
As an Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Kutzfara specializes in procedures including angiography, embolization, vascular access, and image-guided biopsies. His approach emphasizes delivering safe, patient-centered care while reducing recovery times and improving outcomes through less invasive alternatives to traditional surgery.
