Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Promotes Leann Cruse to Cardiovascular Division Manager

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has promoted Leann Cruse, RN to Cardiovascular Division Manager, where she will oversee the daily operations for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, Cardiac Function Lab, EKG department, and Vascular Lab. Cruse will continue to work on maintaining the IAC accreditation for the ECHO and Vascular Lab, as well the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) certification for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
A Johnstown native, Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech grad, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Cruse joined Conemaugh Health System as an LPN. Upon graduating from the Conemaugh School of Nursing, Cruse obtained her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Aloysius College. Cruse has worked on the Cardiothoracic unit for 23 years, including as a clinical coordinator.
“Leann’s extensive experience in the Cardiovascular Service Line and participation in our Aspiring Leader Program has provided her with a strong foundation to successfully lead as the Cardiovascular Division Manager,” said Stephanie Jones, MSN, RN, Director, Cardiovascular Services. “Leann has been a major contributor in helping to achieve Heart Failure and Chest Pain Accreditation through the American College of Cardiology for the organization, and will continue to help provide the highest quality of cardiovascular care for patients.”
