Balance Therapy

Falls and dizziness are the leading cause of injuries in men and women over the age of 65. Conemaugh Rehabilitation therapists use the latest technology and treatment techniques to assess, treat, and correct balance problems. The goals of this specialized treatment program are to increase balance and improve visual-motor control, which will ultimately help to increase activity levels and improve safety.

Therapy is typically covered by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Most managed care health plans require pre-authorization prior to treatment. A prescription is needed from the patient's primary care physician.
