Ostomy
Conemaugh Health System offers ostomy assistance through a certified, experienced Wound / Ostomy / Continence Nurse.
Ostomy patients receive a caring and compassionate review and evaluation of any ostomy issues by the Nurse. A plan of care and recommendation is shared with the patient and physician to provide optimum care. Counseling and additional education is also provided.
Ostomy Support Group
Conemaugh Health System is proudly hosting several Ostomy Support Group sessions in 2026! Come and join the ostomy nurses, as well as fellow peers, for lifelong learning and support throughout your ostomy journey. Meet other ostomates, discuss ostomy issues, insurance allowances, and become up to date on the latest ostomy supplies.
The support groups are held on Thursdays at 5 pm at Conemaugh Physician Group - Surgery, 415 Napoleon Place, Johnstown, PA.
The dates for the ostomy support group are:
- April 16 | 5 pm
- June 18 | 5 pm
- August 13 | 5 pm
- November 19 | 5 pm
