Bereavement Support
While we hope for joyful beginnings, we understand that some families face unimaginable loss. Your care team is here to provide compassionate care and emotional support during these difficult times.
We offer:
- Bereavement counseling and grief support resources
- Memory-making services for families who wish to honor their baby
- Referrals to local and national support groups
- Cuddle Cot (Cooling Bassinet): A specialized cooling system that allows families extended time to hold and bond with their baby. This provides precious moments for photographs, memory-making, spiritual rituals and quiet time together.
- Saline Bath: In certain situations, a gentle saline bath may be offered to help preserve the baby’s appearance and allow families additional time for holding and creating memories.
Our goal is to ensure no family faces this journey alone. Please speak with your nurse or care provider for confidential support.
