Corrine Lau, MA
Biography - I grew up on Long Island, New York and spent a few years working in research psychology in studies involving the World Trade Center Responders. I decided to return to higher education and pursue my doctoral degree in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Why I chose Conemaugh - I chose to complete my doctoral internship at Conemaugh's Memorial Medical Center because I truly value the integration of both physical medicine and behavioral health. Our sense of well-being is not only physical, but also mental and emotional. Conemaugh's Integrated-Care model insures that patients will have the necessary resources to improve their overall health and well-being within the same facility.

Professional Interests: I am deeply interested in how interpersonal relationships and family dynamics influence an individual’s mental health across the lifespan. In particular, I’m drawn to understanding these factors in the lives of children and adolescents, as early experiences often shape long-term emotional and psychological development.
Hobbies: Going for walks, spending time outdoors, pilates, yoga, reading and finding new ice cream shops.
