Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center’s Swing Bed Program has earned one of the highest overall ratings of any of the hospital-based Swing Bed Programs in the Duke LifePoint Healthcare System after an audit conducted by Milestone Healthcare, LLC, in November 2016. The audit applauded the quality of the program and the outstanding performance of the medical staff, nursing staff, case management, and rehabilitation services.
“The results of the Swing Bed Audit are a testament to Conemaugh Meyersdale’s focus on our mission and the sensational care our skilled staff is able to provide,” said Heather Smith, President of Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center.
“Although the audit specifically mentions certain departments, it takes the expertise of all our staff and employees, working together, to establish a successful Swing Bed Program,” Smith said.
