Conemaugh Cancer Center offers: 

Conemaugh Cancer Center's Cancer Survivorship Initiative launched in 2021 to meet the ongoing needs of cancer survivors in the region. The programming supports the wellbeing of cancer patients through all stages of survivorship.

Free workshops for patients, survivors, and caregivers range from gentle, mindful yoga, to nutrition and wellness, to creative projects, and more.  For all events, participants are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.

Monday, June 21 at 10 am When life throws you a curve ball…hit it out of the park.  Join us for a virtual Q&A session with Major League Baseball player Trey Mancini, who will talk about his journey as a cancer patient and survivor
Monday, July 19 at 9am Kicking the Cancer Blues This workshop will focus on scientifically-proven techniques that reduce anxiety and depression and increase quality of life for survivors
Monday, August 9 at 9am Say Yes to Yoga Join us for another session of gentle, mindful yoga to help reduce stress and improve mood
Friday, August 20 at 9am Spirituality and Cancer We will explore the spiritual questions that are often raised during a cancer journey
September, 13 at 3pm Trinity Farms Center for Healing This workshop will allow participants to enjoy nature and interact with the farm’s animals in a quiet setting to decrease stress and anxiety.
September 20 at 9am Say Yes to Yoga Join us for another session of gentle, mindful yoga to help reduce stress and improve mood
Monday, October 4 at 9am Let's Care for the Caregiver Learn how to care for yourself while caring for a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer.
