Inpatient Care and Recovery Center - Cardiac Unit
Ashman-Rose Pavilion, 7th Floor
Nurses' Station Desk: (814) 534-9704
This unit is a cardiac unit that cares for patients with cardiac problems and the open heart population. The open heart program started in 1990 and is led by a specially trained staff, including progressive care certified nurses. To ensure the safety and privacy of patients, family members and visitors are asked to abide by the following guidelines.
Each patient's family is asked to designate one family member to serve as the primary contact person for updates. The family contact person can then relay information to other family and friends, allowing staff time to focus on care for the patient. To allow staff adequate time for communicating patient care updates during shift changes, contact persons are asked to refrain from calling the units between the hours of 6:30 - 8 am and 6:30 - 8 pm.
Spiritual Care staff and volunteers are available to support families and provide spiritual care for critically ill patients.
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center offers a variety of dining options for guests.
Vending machines are located on the third and fifth floors of the Ashman-Rose Pavilion.
