Andrew Sword, MD

Andrew James Sword, MD, joins the Women and Children's Services team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center as an OB Hospitalist, bringing more than 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency at Magee-Women's Hospital of UPMC. Throughout his career, Dr. Sword has combined exceptional patient care with a passion for medical education, earning multiple awards for teaching and clinical excellence. Patients can trust Dr. Sword's expertise and compassionate approach to provide high-quality care for mothers and babies throughout their childbirth experience.
