Originally from Syria, Dr. Dib practiced medicine in New York and New Jersey for over 15 years. Relocating to Johnstown provides new opportunity for reaching patients. “I was looking for a hospital with advanced technology and services for the patient population,” said Dr. Dib. “Conemaugh’s patient population will allow me to provide care for women of all ages with various medical histories.”

Dr. Dib earned his medical degree from Damascus University Medical School, Damascus, Syria. He completed a Pediatric residency and an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency, both at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Prior to joining Conemaugh’s team, Dr. Dib provided OB / Gyn services at Allegheny Health Network, Warren, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Dib specializes in the treatment of gynecological diseases and concerns, maternity care, labor and delivery, post-partum care, and gynecological surgeries.

“Providing thorough evaluation of each patient is important to provide the best care,” said Dr. Dib. “This specialty allows me to provide a variety of services and diverse procedures and disease management.” While he will not be providing pediatric care services, Dr. Dib has experience in pediatrics which adds to his knowledge of care for families.

“It’s rewarding when the patient is happy,” said Dr. Dib. “Helping to deliver a new baby for a family, and being there during one of the greatest moments of their lives, is a wonderful experience. At the same time, helping a patient through disease management and treatment of conditions is rewarding to see them get better.”
