Pam Swansboro, MS, RN, was recently named Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center. Prior to accepting her new position at Conemaugh Meyersdale, Swansboro served as Director of Nursing at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She will be replacing retiring CNO, Denise Shesko, MS, RN.

The Conemaugh Health System School of Surgical Technology has earned a continuing ten-year reaccreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), upon the recommendation of the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA).

Jennifer Silvis, DO, general surgery resident physician at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, has been named one of three nationally recognized resident physician surgeons as the recipient of the EAST/John M. Templeton, Jr., MD Military Call to Service Scholarship. The scholarship is open to active and reserve service members across the United States.
