Dr. Michael Galuska is a Johnstown native. He attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown on a Presidential Scholarship and studied medicine at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency training at York Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a veteran of the United States Navy Medical Corps and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2009. During his service time, he was awarded both the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement and Commendation Medals. Dr. Galuska is an Emergency Medicine physician at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center where he serves as the Associate Program Director as well as Medical Student Clerkship Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
