Wendy Clevenger donated handmade blankets to Memorial’s Regional Intensive Care Nursery

We’re here today to present some blankets to you as a thank you for everything you did for my daughter the day she was born and the week after so that we could have her for the rest of our lives. We are very appreciative and we just wanted to say thank you in some way in some manner to the RICN.

Our office – the Bedford County Assistance Office made them. We are basically one big family and we always draw together when there is a problem in the office with one of our family members and we decided to do this as a group effort and a family effort. All of our children participated in making the blankets.

I believe there are 19 to 20 blankets, all hand made with love. The blanket we have is a very treasured keepsake of our time here and I just want to give something as nice to the other family members who are going to be using your service and it could be a cherished keepsake for them also.
