Memorial Medical Center to offer free Weight-Loss Surgery Informational Sessions at Memorial, Miners and Meyersdale Medical Centers.The Weight Management Center at Memorial Medical Center is offering free informational sessions to the public to discuss the treatment and management of conditions such as morbid obesity and associated diseases using laparoscopic gastric bypass and laparoscopic adjustable banding methods.
Topics will include:
Preparing for successful weight loss
Medical qualifications for weight loss surgery
Types of weight loss surgery
Memorial’s Weight Management Center offers a skilled team of surgeons, nurses, dietitians and psychologists specially trained in weight management to help patients along on their weight loss journey.

A Bariatric Support group will also be held Wednesday, November 4, from 6-7:30p.m, at Memorial Medical Center, Lee Campus.
