Dr. Tejas Patel, Chairman of Behavioral Medicine and Medical Director of Geriatric Psychiatry Services at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center will be a guest speaker at the Alzheimer’s Support Group meeting on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 7pm.
Dr. Patel completed a Consultation Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified in Neuropsychiatry & Behavioral Neurology, Consultation Psychiatry, Sleep Medicine and Psychopharmacology. He will review Alzheimer’s dementia and the neuropsychiatric symptoms associated with it, followed by a question and answer opportunity for those in attendance.
The Alzheimer’s support group meets at Conemaugh Memorial the second Monday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. The support group meeting takes place in the B-801 conference room on the 8th floor of Conemaugh Memorial’s “M” Building.
