Urgent care is is available 7 days a week for conditions that require prompt attention but do not pose an immediate, serious threat to your health or life. Examples include a sprained ankle, skin or eye irritations, or a common illness such as a cold.
If you have a true life threatening emergency, you must go to the Emergency Room. True emergency care refers to those things which could be beyond the scope of an urgent care center, illnesses or injuries which may prove to be life-threatening and thus require the full resources of a hospital.
