Chemotherapy treats cancer by attacking it with cancer-killing drugs. It may be used alone or combined with surgery, radiation therapy or hormonal therapy.  Chemotherapy is provided at the Conemaugh Cancer Care Center, by specialists who have been awarded the prestigious Commendation Approval Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer for their patient-focused efforts.
