Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2008. Having gained the skills and experience they were looking for, our residents are heading to communities stretching from Sacramento to Long Island to begin productive careers as hospital-based physicians, solo practitioners or members of group practices. Many are bringing their expertise to fellowship programs across the country, including those in general surgery, vascular surgery, pathology, geriatric medicine and rheumatology. It has been our privilege to prepare these young doctors and we extend our best wishes to them for their continued success.
