The Family Medicine Residency Program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges. We do not meet candidates who present at the residency unannounced and we do not make appointments to meet candidates outside of the regular application process. The candidate is offered a night’s accommodations at the newly-renovated Downtown Johnstown Holiday Inn and is given an allocation for dinner and breakfast.

On the day of the interview, the candidate arrives at the Family Medical Center at 9:30 a.m. and is greeted by Claudia Spittal, Program Coordinator. The day’s itinerary is given to the candidate and Claudia escorts the candidate to his/her first interview.

 9:30 a.m. - Meet with a faculty member
10:00 a.m. - Meet with Program Director or faculty member
10:30 a.m. - Tour facilities and model office with a resident
11:30 a.m. - Meet with a faculty member
 Noon - Lunch with Family Medicine residents
 1:00 p.m. - Meet with a faculty/wrap-up interview
