Medical technologists perform scientific tests in the Department of Laboratory Medicine to help in the diagnosis and prognostic aspects of disease. They are indispensable, top-level laboratory workers and supervisors, specialists and teachers for a wide range of complex diagnostic and treatment procedures.

Accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), the Memorial Medical Center Medical Technology Program is a 50-week program that provides theoretical and clinical training for qualified, academically prepared students.
