Graduates of the Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology are eligible to take the certification exam of the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

Graduates of the Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology have had a 100% pass rate on the NBSTSA exam in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. The Conemaugh School of Surgical Technology received The National Merit Award from the NBSTSA in 2011 and 2012 for these excellent results.

There has been a 100% employment rate of graduates for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
