Gloria Mongelluzzo, Program Director of the School of Radiologic Technology (left) and Louise Pugliese, Director of the School of Nursing (ight) present a $500 Conemaugh Health Foundation Scholarship to Brandon Cook, Radiologic Technology student. "I knew I loved technology, I was fascinated by anatomy and I loved working with people," writes Brandon in his submiteed scholarship essay. After graduation, Brandon wishes to continue his education by specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Computed Tomography (CT).

Eligible candidates for the scholarship are those who are:

  • Enrolled as a full-time radiologic technology student
  • Must have completed at least the first semester in the curriculum plan
  • On the Honor Roll wtih a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0
  • Exhibit a pattern of good class and clinical attendance and never placed on probationary status
  • Evaluated by faculty with professional attitude and clinical competence
  • Each candidate must write an essay on their future in Radiologic Technology and what it means to them as a career
