It is not often I take the time to write to commend an organization for its staff. These days, most see their work only as a job to get to reach a personal end. This has not been my experience.

I have been visiting the CMT Clinic in Johnstown and participating in a drug study for approximately 9 months. I wanted to let you know how professional and courteous the staff has been. Because CMT is not prevalent in East Tennessee, I have made the choice to come to Johnstown on a regular basis. I get more accomplished, with compassion and moreover understanding, then I can in 6 months here in my own city. Here I am sent from doctor to doctor, most of them admitting they have only ever seen two or three CMT patients.

In particular, Dr. DeMayo has been more than outstanding. His grasp of CMT, his understanding of what we deal with physically and moreover emotionally is second to none. Additionally, Jan Goodard and Lisa Pasierb have been equally professional. Always on top of things, both have a great sense of humor and extremely professional when it comes to care, as is true with most of the staff at the clinic.

You are both lucky and blessed to have such professionals on your staff at Conemaugh Memorial. It is difficult to find people of this character and I am hopeful that this is realized. Please accept my thanks and appreciation for you and the Conemaugh Health System being able to hire and keep such folks!
