Our Pain Management Program offers new hope and a range of innovative outpatient therapies to those who suffer from ongoing pain caused by illness, injury or chronic conditions. Our physician team, many of whom are board-certified in pain management and have completed advanced fellowship training in pain care, treat a wide range of conditions such as:

Arthritis Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders
Back Pain Headaches
Cancer Multiple Sclerosis
Chronic Pain Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders
Diabetes Stroke
Fibromyalgia Traumatic Injuries


We make very effort to identify and relieve pain, make patients more comfortable and improve our patients’ quality of life.

Treatment Methods
Our unique approach can include one or more of the following treatment methods:

  • Medical and/or Surgical Therapy, such as nerve blocks, trigger injections at the pain site, botox injections to relax muscles and reduce pain, medical management, or surgery
  • Physical Rehabilitation to strengthen muscles and increase muscle function, including aquatherapy, ultrasound and electrical stimulations
  • Behavioral Therapy, such as psychological evaluations, group therapy and biofeedback to help patients and their families deal with stress of living with chronic pain
  • Complementary Medicine, such as acupuncture, massage therapy, nutrition counseling and aromatherapy

A physician referral is required before any treatment program can begin.

Additional information on complementary therapies to help manage pain is available through the Johnstown-based Integrative Medicine Advisory Council (IMAC).
