Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is home to Conemaugh Health System’s comprehensive neurosurgery program. Innovative surgical treatment options, performed by our board-certified neurosurgery team, bring the latest in clinical research and medical technology to the community – and with it, new hope and promise for patients who need it most. Extensive surgical options are available for several neurological conditions, including:

Newly developed brain navigation imaging technology, available at only a few hospitals in Pennsylvania, anchors our surgical suite. This technology allows the team to perform the latest in minimally invasive procedures, helping to reduce complications and speed the recovery process.

A specialized neuroscience surgical recovery unit supports our surgical team and is staffed by nurses who have received specific training in neurosurgical care. The team also works closely with Memorial's trauma experts to treat traumatic brain, neck and spine injuries.

Neurosurgery specialty clinics are also available once a month at the Indiana Regional Medical Center and Bedford Medical Center. During the clinic, surgical patients can meet with the surgeons, receive physical, occupational and/or speech therapy and learn more about available clinical trials.
