Claudia Rager was named Vice President of Patient Care Services in 1996.
Ms. Rager began working at Memorial Medical Center in 1975. She has more than 20 years experience in the health care industry in management and direct care provision. Her clinical background, along with her advanced business education, has resulted in a valuable combination for the health care industry.
She has substantial experience interacting with physicians, resulting in beneficial collaborative outcomes. Her special strengths include planning, project management, problem solving and team work. She has a record of increasing responsibilities with positive results.
Ms. Rager is a member of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders and the American Organization of Nurse Executives. She received her BSN degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984 and earned a MBA from Saint Francis College in 1998. She received the 1998 Excellence Award in Graduate Business Studies and was presented with the YWCA Tribute to Women Award in 2005.
