The Johnstown Breast Center offers extensive services to diagnose and manage breast disease, including:

• Clinical breast exams
• Breast ultrasound
• Stereotactic breast biopsy
• Sentinel node biopsy
• Ultrasound guided biopsy
• Breast surgery and breast cancer treatment
• Long-term follow-up of women with breast disease
• Participation in clinical trials

The Center is under the medical direction of Gerard Garguilo, MD, FACS, a board-certified surgeon who specializes in the care of women with breast diseases. Dr. Garguilo is also certified by the American Society of Breast Surgeons to do breast ultrasound. The Johnstown Breast Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The Johnstown Breast Center works closely with Conemaugh Breast Imaging in Suite 040 to provide patients with convenient and easy access to the lastest in digital mammography technology.

Referrals can be made through your primary care physician. Test results can be sent to your physician's office and are available to you for physician consultation.

Office Hours
The Johnstown Breast Center is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
