As a medical student, we know that you’re here to learn. You don’t have time to worry about finding safe housing or cooking your own meals – or how to pay for them.

With that in mind, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center provides on-campus housing and a generous meal plan stipend to every medical student.

Six newly renovated houses sleep up to four students each and are equipped with comfortable, at-home conveniences, including:

• separate bedrooms
• spacious living areas and outfitted kitchens
• wireless technology
• cable TV
• free laundry facilities
• free weekly cleaning services and linens

The houses are within walking distance to a full-service grocery store, pharmacy, post office and deli. Several banks and casual restaurants are located in the neighborhood, too.

MMC also offers a meal stipend that can be applied to any item on our award-winning café menu. Most students agree that the stipend, coupled with complementary meals that are usually offered every day, covers food costs for the month.
