With access to more than 25,000 inpatient admissions and 218,000 outpatient visits every year, residents gain invaluable hands-on training across a wide spectrum that includes:

• Outpatient centers, such as those specializing in primary care or the neurosciences
• Physician offices
• Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center
• Level 3 Newborn Intensive Care Unit
• Brain suite dedicated to neurological surgical procedures
• Cardiothoracic and vascular operating suite equipped with image intensification, physiological monitoring and other sophisticated technology
• Medical Skills Learning Center, one of only 52 simulation labs in the world to earn accreditation from the American College of Surgeons
