It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center (MMC). Backed by the nationally recognized resources of Conemaugh Health System, our program is designed with one goal in mind - to give pharmacists the foundation they need for success in any position, in any practice setting.

Each year, two residents are accepted into the competitive one-year program. To ensure that our residents are fully prepared for a meaningful and productive pharmacy career, we provide extensive training in direct patient care, practice management and research programming. In addition, partnerships with distinguished academic centers, such as Ohio Northern University, University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University, mean that our residents have a unique opportunity to further strengthen their teaching and leadership skills as well.

Residents work side-by-side with resident physicians, board-certified physicians and other allied health professionals to provide optimal patient care. Our faculty provides one-on-one instruction, giving you the support you need as you manage both the challenges and opportunities that come with the profession.
