All American Amateur Baseball Association Tournament
Johnstown serves as the permanent home for the annual AAABA tournament. During AAABA, amateur baseball teams from major cities such as Baltimore, Detroit and New Orleans travel to the area every August to compete.
Altoona Curve
Since 1999, the Altoona Curve has been the area's hometown minor league baseball team. The team, affiliated with the Pittsburgh Pirates, packs fans into the beautiful Blair County Ballpark for a day or evening of affordable family fun.
International Tour de Toona
The Tour de Toona is the largest pro-am cycling event in North America and takes place each July. Cyclists from five different continents travel to the area to compete.

The Johnstown Riverhawks indoor football team is the newest sports team to come to the area. The team is part of the American Indoor Football League and plays every spring at the Cambria County War Memorial in Downtown Johnstown.

A scenic 90-minute drive will take you to the heart of State College and Happy Valley, home of the Penn State Nittany Lions and its legendary Beaver Stadium. Catch Penn State basketball and other indoor sports at the Bryce Jordan Center, also located on campus.
Sunnehanna Amateur Tournament for Champions
Since 1954, this golf tournament has brought numerous nationally renowned golfers, namelyTiger Woods, Arnold Palmer and Art Wall, to the region before they turned pro.
