EMS Core Faculty
Dr. Neal has over 38 years of fire, dispatch and EMS experience. He is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an Osteopathic internship at the Osteopathic Hospital of Maine, and residencies in both Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at Geisinger Medical Center. He has served as an on-site evaluator for the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services and has more than 10 years of experience in special operations EMS including Aeromedical, Tactical, Wilderness Search and Rescue, and Disaster EMS. Dr. Neal serves with the National Disaster Medical System, PA-1 DMAT, and with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of EMS as a pre-hospital Health Professional, Regional EMS Medical Director, and member of the State EMS Medical Advisory Committee.
