Skin Grafts
Home > Services > Skin Grafts

Skin grafts, or pharmaceutical tissue substances, are often used where insufficient healthy tissue exists surrounding a wound or incision for proper closure, such as a severe burn.

The graft may consist of healthy skin from other areas of one’s own body, such as abdomen or thigh.

Grafts grown in a pharmaceutical laboratory from a harvest of one’s own skin cells or from an unknown donor are an alternative.
