Thank you for your interest in Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Conemaugh Memorial is a state-of-the-art, 545-bed hospital. As the largest medical center between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, Conemaugh Memorial serves as a Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center and is repeatedly ranked as a Top 100 Hospital for heart care. Conemaugh Memorial sponsors accredited residency programs: AOA Family Practice, AOA Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine.  An accredited Pharmacy training program and an AOA internship program are also offered.

Conemaugh Memorial is the site of more than 200 annual medical student rotations from four Pennsylvania medical schools including Drexel University College of Medicine, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  The rotations are arranged with each student's institution. A limited number of rotation opportunities are available for medical students from other states. On-campus housing, food and amenities are provided.

Medical students develop skills through structured education and supervised clinical experiences. In this medical-student friendly environment, faculty and resident supervisors mentor and encourage students to maximize their rotation experiences. With this in mind, students are required to participate in daily rounds, morning reports, educational conferences and meetings.

We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Again, thank you for your interest. Best wishes for a successful search.
