Dr. Hornyak is a licensed psychologist who provides residents with an invaluable understanding of behavioral health and its relationship to physical health.  He serves as Director of Behavioral Science at MMC.  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Hornyak is active in the bariatric and HIV programs at MMC, and maintains a private psychology practice.  He is a regular presenter at regional and national family medicine and behavioral health conferences.  His passions are sailing and enjoying time with his wife and three daughters.
