Dr. Dennis Eckels DO, FAAFP, FACOFP

Dr. Eckels is a board-certified family practitioner with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) who brings nearly 30 years of clinical teaching experience to the AOA Family Practice Residency Program. A private practice physician, Dr. Eckels is a published author who has conducted research on a variety of topics, including hormone replacement therapy and diabetic polyneuropathy. A member of a number of professional organizations, he is also is actively involved in community, civic and national affairs. Dr. Eckels is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and served a rotating internship at Tri-County Hospital in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
